GAME ON! TEAM SIGN-UPS HIT 50 AHEAD OF #JET10 VIRTUAL RELAY FUNDRAISER WEEKEND!
It’s almost here! Our fantastic #JET10 Virtual Relay 10th anniversary fundraiser weekend (10-11 July) is almost upon us. Pre-event excitement is mounting at Team JET with 50 teams now registered!

We have runners competing from all over the world too, including Ascension Island, Australia, the USA, Dubai and Denmark. It’s fantastic to see our corporate and military partners throwing themselves headlong into the challenge too, not to mention some incredible teams from University Air Squadrons, Trustees and many of JET’s loyal supporters and friends too!
Camels and pink tutus to make an appearance!
All manner of 10x10k physical feats of endurance have been dreamt up by our teams; some will be walking, running and open swimming, while others are taking to the water on paddleboards. There’s even a trio of PT instructors running a level 10 bleep test (MSFT) every hour for 10 hours!
And then there are the extreme feats of endurance that are being attempted, and which will have us all on the edges of our seats over the relay weekend. Planes are being pulled, cars pushed, bergens hoisted and armoured vehicles towed. Wow! For other teams, it’s the fancy dress angle that’s caught the imagination with pink tutus and pantomime camels expected to make an appearance. What this space! Three team trophies to aim for!
Three #JET10 trophies are being awarded at the end of the weekend for Speed, Challenge and Fundraising, not to mention medals for all too.
- The Speed Trophy: this will be awarded to the team who finishes their 100km (10x10km) in the fastest cumulative time on foot of all competing teams.
- The Challenge Trophy: this will be awarded to the team that best embodies JET’s ethos of ‘overcoming adversity’ in the challenge they set themselves.
- JET10 Fundraising Trophy – this will be awarded to the team that raises the most money via their JET10 Virtual Relay fundraising page.

The #JET10 Virtual Relay event fundraising mission!
The aim of our 2021 #JET10 fundraising campaign is to shine a spotlight on JET’s vital work with vulnerable youngsters. Our fundraising goal of £100,000 across the campaign will help launch our 10-year mission to reach 1 million young people by 2031. The invaluable support of all who get behind the relay weekend will also allow us to continue our ongoing work with vulnerable and disenfranchised youngsters at a time when their need has never been more acute.
