Work with us…

Are you an experienced Finance Manager ready to take on a new challenge?

We are seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to build on the excellent infrastructure already in place, managing the day to day financial reporting systems and controls, and ensuring that financial plans are in line with budget and external reporting requirements. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with relevant financial management experience, able to lead on the production of monthly management accounts, budgeting, re-forecasting and liaising with auditors and an external finance committee.

The right individual will be confident in communicating and translating financial information, both to finance and non-financial professionals. It is desirable to have worked in a finance team within the charity sector, but not essential.

You will be joining a small but committed team of home workers who are all passionate about improving the lives of children through our specialist youth programmes.

Who are we?

The Jon Egging Trust was founded in 2012 in memory of Red Arrows pilot Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging to realise his dream of inspiring young people to achieve a brighter future. Jon tragically lost his life on 20th of August 2011 whilst completing a Red Arrows display at the Bournemouth Air Festival.

The Trust delivers two key youth programmes: Blue Skies and Inspirational Outreach, connecting young people aged 11-16 who are underachieving in school with inspirational individuals and resources linked to aviation and STEM. A catalyst for change, the charity works in partnership with the military, predominantly the RAF, as well as corporate partners across the UK to support vulnerable young people to reach their potential.
