I am Jade and I am the Youth Liaison Officer for East Anglia. I joined JET in September 2022. When I came across the job advertisement, I just knew it was something I really wanted to be a part of. Helping young children to succeed and reach their full potential has always been a real passion of mine.
Before working for JET, I was a Primary School teacher in East Anglia and I also tutored pupils on a 1:1 basis, so my role has always been focused on helping young people overcome their barriers and be the best that they can be.
As soon as I applied for JET and began communicating with the team, it just confirmed for me that JET is the place for me. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and passionate about what they do. I couldn’t wait to start!
Youth LiI really am looking forward to the year ahead. I am excited to make positive changes to young people’s lives and learn a lot myself from the wonderful team at JET.
