I’m the Events Marketing Manager at JET. It is my responsibility to organise our fundraising events, such as our cycling event, JETRide, and our annual dinner. It is also my responsibility to co-ordinate our charity places at third party events such as the Great North Run and RideLondon, along with ensuring we have a presence at events such as RIAT and Bournemouth Air show.
I’ve worked in the events industry for a number of years and my roles have been varied; organising concerts, dragon boat festivals and award ceremonies, to name but a few, and they have also taken me as far away as Mumbai where I worked on the Indian Premier League.
I have always had a passion for working with young people and strongly believe that having the right support can transform a young person’s life for the better and help them to reach their full potential. I have previously worked for two different youth charities; at The Prince’s Trust as an Events Manger and at City Year UK where I oversaw the programme delivery in schools across London. I am really excited to be part of JET as they do such fabulous work making a difference to young lives across the UK.
