A big ‘thank you’ shout out to Joshua who is a truly inspirational young man! Following major hip/pelvic surgery Joshua embarked on a personal challenge to complete the Peddars Way – a whopping 46 mile walk in aid of JET raising a tremendous £320 to date!
Joshua chose to support JET because the Red Arrows supported him when was in hospital.
Joshua said ‘I promised myself when I was lying in hospital, recovering from major hip surgery, I would walk the Peddars Way (46 miles). It was my goal that helped me during the road to full recovery from Legg–Calvé–Perthes disease. Perthes meant I was not able to walk, run or play like other children of my age, for 4 years. I am now walking the Peddars Way to celebrate my recovery.’
