Hi my name is Grace and I am a Level 1 Blue Skies student at York High school.
I took part in a total of 10 sessions on the Blue skies programme to help me learn about team work and gain more skills to help me achieve in school. During these sessions I have been able to demonstrate how the Blue Skies programme has helped me to become more confident in class as I am much more likely to put my hand up to answer questions. On Blue Skies I have been encouraging my team mates more so that they take part more when they are nervous, before the programme I was the nervous one and would not have taken part.
As a result the teamwork skills I have improved on the most is to be an active participant, I had a go at all the activities and as a result I really enjoyed the simulator and fire station activities.
