5 TIPS TO MAXIMISE YOUR FUNDRAISING

25 April 2023 | JETRide

Once you have set up your JETRide fundraising page, here are 5 tips to kickstart those donations…

1. Tell your fundraising story – don’t forget to personalise your page.

Adding things like a profile picture, a story about why you are riding JETRide and a fundraising target really help.

2. Start spreading the word

A handy tip is to send your fundraising page with a personalised message to some of your closest friends and family first. They’re the most likely to kick things off with donations, and that might just encourage others to do the same.

3. Social Media

If you are on social media, it can be really useful to add a link to your fundraising page in your bios, and don’t forget to use the #JETRide2023 hashtag in your posts!

4. Link up your Strava activity.

If you’re using the Strava app to track your training, you can add this to your personalised fundraising page. Share things like fitness tracking, training photos and miles to your page so people know just how much effort you’re putting in. Click here for a help article if you are unsure how to connect.

5. Tell people how their donations will help.

By raising money for JET, you will make a huge difference to the young people we support. Tell your supporters how their donations will help and why their support matters.

For example, £250 funds a one-off Inspirational Outreach session for a whole class or school.
