Where we operate
The Jon Egging Trust currently operates in nine regions across England and Wales where we partner with schools in areas of multiple deprivation.
We are supported across our regions by an exceptional network of over 60 corpoarte and military partners who offer our students access to inspirational workplaces, teams and expertise.
National reach, local heart
Our programmes are standardised across the UK to ensure consistency of delivery and impact for our students. However, our established local youth teams work ‘on the ground’ in each of our nine regions. This allows us to build enduring, trusted relationships with our students, schools and delivery partners, and take advantage of unique regional opportunities for our students.

Lincolnshire
As our founding region, JET has operated in Lincolnshire since 2012 when we delivered our very first Blue Skies programme to ten local students.
Lincolnshire has grown to become one of our busiest and most dynamic regions, and we’re proud to be supported by a fantastic range of partners including our Premier Partners in Lincolnshire BAE Systems, as well as The Red Arrows, Affinity, RAF Cranwell, RAF Coningsby, RAF Waddington and Ascent.
Dorset
JET’s programmes were first established in Dorset in 2013, and it’s a region that we hold very dear. We are incredibly grateful to the community in and around Bournemouth who continue to support JET and our mission, and to those who take time to reflect at Jon’s memorial on the East Cliff.
Our work in the region is made possible by a dedicated network of local fundraisers and donors and exceptional delivery partners including NATS, Draken, Bournemouth University, MOD Boscombe Down and Jimmy’s Iced Coffee.

Hampshire
The Jon Egging Trust was established in Hampshire in 2018 following a vital funding commitment from our corporate partners NATS.
Session delivery in Hampshire is supported by a fantastic range of inspiring military and corporate partners including RAF Odiham, MOD Boscombe Down, Portsmouth University and Microsoft.
Oxfordshire
Programmes in Oxfordshire have been running since 2016 when we worked closely with RAF Brize Norton to support the region’s first cohort of Blue Skies students.
Our work in Oxfordshire has accelerated since Covid and we are proud to be supported by an active network of exceptional delivery and funding partners including Bremont, RAL Space, Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, Rolls Royce and the Cotswold Wildlife Park.

East Anglia
As one of our longest-running regions, the Jon Egging Trust first started delivering our programmes in East Anglia in 2013.
We are supported by an established network of inspiring partners across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire including Anglia Ruskin University, RAF Marham, National Space Academy, RAF Honington and RAF Wittering.
North Wales
The Jon Egging Trust was established in North Wales in 2013, initially focusing its support on young people from Holyhead.
We now deliver our flagship Blue Skies programme and our Inspirational Outreach sessions to multiple schools on Anglesey and across Gwynedd. Our vital work in North Wales is supported by funding from our Premier Partners in North Wales, BAE Systems, and we also have an excellent network of delivery partners including RAF Valley, Babcock, Ascent Flight Training and Bangor University.

Wiltshire
In 2019, JET launched its first programmes in Wiltshire thanks to generous support from our corporate partners QinetiQ.
Students in Wiltshire benefit from visits to MOD Boscombe Down and QinetiQ’s site in Farnborough where they’re able to develop their teamwork and employability skills and be inspired by the working world of STEM.
West Midlands
The Jon Egging Trust was established in the West Midlands in 2017 to work with young people in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire.
Since Covid, our work in the region has focused on areas of need around Telford and Wolverhampton and we have a growing network of funding and delivery partners including The RAF Museum, Babcock, Collins Aerospace, Army Engagement Team, Ascent and RAF Cosford.

Cornwall
As our newest area of operation, JET started delivering Blue Skies programmes in Cornwall in 2023, following our national JET to Space residential camp in 2022 linked to the inaugural Virgin Orbit rocket launch.
We are supported by a growing network of inspiring delivery partners in the region including Spaceport Cornwall, RAF St Mawgan, Celtic Sea Power, Cornish Lithium and Newquay Activity Centre.
