JET PACK BOOST FOR BLUE SKIES STUDENTS

12 February 2021 | News

This week, our Youth Programmes Team sent out more than 200 ‘JET Pack’ care packages to Blue Skies students across the country. The packs were a combination of small gifts and motivational activities aimed at raising spirits, keeping brain cells fizzing, and bolstering motivation at a time when our young students need our support more than ever.

The JET Packs included a personal address from our CEO, Dr Emma Egging, in which she told students: “Right now, it must feel like the restrictions, rules and regulations around Covid-19 will never end. But it WILL end, and everything you have gone through and all the coping skills and resilience you have developed will help you for the rest of your life.”

A highlight of the packs was the online ‘Escape Room‘ challenge, developed  by JET’s own Chloe Phillips-Bartlett. The virtual logic puzzle invited students to travel around the UK using Google Maps to unlock a 5-digit engine start-up code for The Red Arrows! To pit your wits against this fantastic Escape Room challenge and to help rescue the Reds, follow the link below. Can you beat our current winning time of 33 minutes?
