There was a big welcome for our new Level 1 Blue Skies students, and a massive welcome back to our Level 2 students from Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi on Thursday 29th September.
The afternoon was spent getting to know each other with some fun icebreakers and team games. Sgt Neil Madden and Flt Lt Muscat got the students tied up in knots and tasked them with getting a ball from one wall to the other wall just by using tubes. Shyness was overcome with all the students participating in the activities.
The students wrote their Code of Conduct for the Blue Skies sessions over the next 5 months, with “Having Fun” and “Respecting each other” as key rules! The young people were joined later by their parents to find out more about the exciting sessions based upon teamwork and leadership they will experience.
