WHAT IS A JET PARTNER?
Our partnership model enables us to maximise the positive impact of our programmes, and allows us to offer inspiring real-world experiences in the workplace. JET works in partnership with a range of organisations from multinational corporations and RAF / military bases, to local business owners and entrepreneurs. Our partners share our founding vision that every young person, no matter their background, should be given the opportunity to thrive.
- Funding for our programmes
- Access to their workplaces and workforces to mentor and inspire our students
JET partners enjoy the following benefits:
- Quantifiable CSR and social value impact
- Outreach into the local community
- Staff training to allow for confident and meaningful interaction with students
- An annual report to document impact and reach
OUR PARTNERSHIP METHODOLOGY
JET provides our corporate and military partners with a bridge between young people from deprived areas and the untapped reservoir of opportunity, talent and inspiration within local corporations and military establishments (which our students are often unaware of or feel excluded from).
The long-term support offered by JET’s Youth Liaison Officers is coupled with one-off inspirational events, trips and workplace experiences facilitated by our JET partners. These two elements combine to maximise the impact of our programmes in raising confidence, self-belief, work-readiness and aspiration in our vulnerable young students.
OTHER WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT JET
Charity of the year
Nominate the Jon Egging Trust as your charity of the year or simply encourage staff to fundraise for us. We can support you with tips and materials to get you started. We can also provide your staff with places in popular events such as the Great North Run, or can create a tailor-made event just for you.
We have a number of sponsorship opportunities available; from high-profile events such as JETRide and our Annual Dinner, to local student graduations and bespoke fundraising activities. Sponsorship packages can be tailored to meet individual needs and we work with our sponsors to ensure their support is celebrated across our network. Please contact us for further details.
Gifts in kind
Providing gifts-in-kind in the form of auction prizes or equipment is a brilliant way to support our work. Please do get in touch if you are interested in making a donation.
Payroll Giving is a simple and tax-effective scheme which allows you to donate to JET directly from your salary. Your payroll department will deduct your nominated pledge from your monthly pay. If your company does not have an established Payroll Giving programme (also known as Give As You Earn), you can sign up individually. Please contact us for details.
