Level 3 students' work skills flourish with help from Northrop Grumman

The aims for today’s Level 3 Blue Skies students were to learn how write a successful CV and how to conduct themselves for a job interview. We were very lucky to have John Pearce and Sophie Balls – both HR Business Partners from Northrop Grumman – teach the students all the essentials to create a professional CV. They really helped the students to realise what achievements they have made and how best to put that into their CVs.

After lunch, queue the roll playing as students learnt how to conduct themselves in a job interview. Some of the students’ natural drama skills flourished and it was a very enjoyable afternoon with lots of positive steps taken as they practiced interviewing one another.

As a reward for their hard work the students were given the opportunity to see what Northrop Grumman do for the RAF and have a look around the AWACS (Airborne Early Warning and Control) aircraft they maintain.

The students would like to send a special thank you to John and Sophie for all their work and helping them!
